Did you know a baby mouse is called a pinky or a kitten. A female mouse is called a doe, while a male mouse is called a buck. Mice are nocturnal animals and are often more active at night than during the day.
Despite being classified as herbivores, mice will eat almost anything! The average pet mouse lives between 1-1/2 and 2 years. Wild mice will only live for a few months. This is due to predation from other animals.
